Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to support store operations and customer experience. The role involves opening/closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash and transactions, and ensuring floor and stock room readiness for business days.

Responsibilities include assisting with vendor orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, updating pricing, and supporting displays and promotions.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups, cash handling, and readiness of floor and stock room.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management as necessary.
• Assists with and coaches team members in warehouse/vendor ordering and deliveries, including backdoor access.
• Registers sales, records scanning errors, verifies prices, handles price changes and voids.
• Assists with order release day reviews and reverse logistics tasks.
• Evaluates and develops displays, completes resets and revisions.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments and stockrooms.
• Ensures adherence to pricing, signage, and local regulatory pricing tasks.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities and cash controls as needed.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance and coordinates repairs in management’s absence.
• Separates food items and manages stock rotation and restocking.
