Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store supervisor/manager on duty to wow customers and lead a team of associates in our lively Texas store. You’ll train crew on the BEST customer service and help ensure fast, friendly checkout, stock management, and daily operations.

We value strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow with the Five Below team.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick stocking on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management and customer service.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and customer service.
• Performs store maintenance and collaborates with leadership on merchandising procedures.
