Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to support store operations in Fremont, NE. This role involves opening or closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

You will engage customers, assist with products and services, and help maintain pricing, inventory, and displays to support a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Adheres to pricing, signage, inventory accuracy, and displays; supports backroom and vendor deliveries.
• Maintains store cleanliness, basic maintenance, and adherence to policies when management is absent.
