Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate capable of opening and closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash, assisting customers, and maintaining accurate records. You will model excellent service, support inventory, and help with merchandising and promotional displays.

The role requires leadership experience, fluent English, and a pharmacy license or PTCB certification as required by state. This is a full-time on-site position in the Barnegat area with Walgreens benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership or retail supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Pharmacy license or PTCB certification required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management and ensure systems start-up and cash handling are completed.
• Complete product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive customer experience to shoppers and patients.
• Hold store keys, supervise team, assist with vendor deliveries, and manage backdoor access.
• Register sales accurately, verify prices, and address scan errors or price changes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across departments and stockrooms.
• Support display setup, resets, and promotional merchandising.
• Assist with pricing tasks and signage to comply with local regulations.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks as needed and contribute to store maintenance.
