Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will assist with returns, refunds, and cash drops while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

Candidate should have leadership or key holder experience and be fluent in English; state requirements may apply for PTCB certification or pharmacy licensure.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• State may require PTCB certification or pharmacy license.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including all required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor opening as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and proper pricing/signage across departments.
