Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store operations associate who can open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash tasks, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. The role emphasizes delivering an outstanding customer experience and accurate point-of-sale transactions.

The position requires one year of leadership or retail experience, fluency in English, and familiarity with inventory controls and pricing processes.

Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Prefers knowledge of store inventory control and the ability to obtain/maintain PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
Assists with vendor deliveries, pricing tasks, and basic department organization to support accurate pricing and displays.
