Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help maximize store profitability under the Store Manager's direction.

The role requires supervisory experience or relevant training, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow planograms. This is a full-time, on-site position at a Dollar General store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related training) preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms.
• Ability to perform basic math and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions.
• Stock merchandise and build displays.
• Clean the store and maintain appearance.
• Assist in planogram implementation.
• Open and close the store per directions.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager.
