Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and support the Store Manager.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, basic math, and adherence to safety and planogram guidelines. You will lead by example in the absence of the Store Manager, performing typical supervisor duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and assist customers with purchases.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build displays.
• Clean the store and restock; take out trash and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager in their absence.
