Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and display merchandise, and perform duties in the absence of the Store Manager.

You will follow company processes, manage store cleanliness, and support planogram implementation while ensuring accurate cash handling and safety practices. This role requires a high school diploma and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service leadership and ability to guide a team.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Strong math skills for calculations and percentages.
• Experience operating a cash register and handling cash accurately.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank for deposits if needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, and unpack shipments.
• Clean the store and manage sanitation, trash, and restroom upkeep.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
