Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position seeks an individual to provide customer-first service, operate registers, stock and display merchandise, and support store operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; assist with displays.
• Clean the store and support sidewalk displays and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager; perform duties in their absence.
