Job summary

Old Navy in Goldsboro, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and the team, driving profitable sales through customer operations, merchandising and talent development. You will coach Leads and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

You will manage daily operations, recruit and develop staff, and ensure standards are met while supporting the execution of the store strategy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good communicator who can interact with customers and team to meet goals.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel for a frictionless customer experience.
