Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store in Michigan. You will lead customer service, sales, and compliance across the store and support daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and supervisory adaptability, with travel within the district and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required).
1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling (preferred).
Strong customer service, active listening, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve and educate customers on products and services that meet their needs.
Escalate issues to the store manager or corporate office if unresolved.
Answer telephone inquiries and process customer applications or requests.
Perform outbound customer calls for sales, courtesy, and collections per regulations.
Respond professionally and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
Handle currency and cash, including deposits and cash drawer management.
Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
Process transactions per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
Complete compliance trainings and required certifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
