Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory excellence across store operations.

Responsibilities include educating customers on product options, handling cash, processing transactions, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Travel within assigned district may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office when unable to resolve with the customer.
• Answer telephone inquiries in response to general questions, applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring they feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; bank pickups as needed.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings.
