Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Area Supervisor in Connecticut. The role oversees daily operations and merchandising of assigned areas, ensuring smooth freight flow and outstanding customer experiences under a Team Leader.

This position serves as a development path toward store leadership. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of retail experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to train and guide others.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional retail experience.
• Customer service experience and training experience preferred.
• Experience with merchandise ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example.
• Bridge customer needs with corporate support to resolve issues.
• Promote company initiatives, donations, loyalty programs and promotions.
• Create effective area work schedules.
• Guide and support the team to complete tasks and stay motivated.
• Assist with training of store associates in your area.
