Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive exceptional customer service and profitable sales growth. You will lead and develop associates, uphold merchandise standards, and manage omnichannel processes such as pickup and curbside delivery.

In this role, you will train teams on sales-building programs, coordinate staffing for peak periods, and ensure consistent execution of visual standards across the selling floor.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a sales floor or comparable retail environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to develop and coach a diverse team to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in-store; resolves customer issues.
• Maintains merchandise standards through Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual processes.
• Oversees Ship from Store, BOPIS, and curbside pickup processes with defined timelines.
• Leads and mentors associates across specialty businesses (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window).
• Partners with management to recruit hourly associates and develop talent.
• Monitors performance metrics and drives improvements in service, shrink, and productivity.
