Job summary

Five Below is hiring at least one store leadership role in Michigan to supervise crew members and ensure a WOW customer experience. You will train staff, assist with opening and closing, and manage daily operations, including cash handling and safety procedures.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of management experience and strong verbal and written communication skills, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure effective performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty; handle store operations, staff management, and issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Maintain stock room and keep store clean.
