Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced Store Manager candidate to lead daily operations, oversee a team of crew members, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will train staff, manage opening/closing procedures, and drive sales while controlling expenses.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. A flexible schedule and commitment to WOW customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high performance and outstanding service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty handling store operations, staffing, customer service and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and housekeeping.
