Job summary

Five Below is seeking an on-duty Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver a WOW customer experience. This hourly role supports opening/closing, cash handling, and staff supervision in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities

• Wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast sales floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms for daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates; reinforce store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and customer service improvements.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery initiatives.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room tasks.
