Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of a global food retailer, is seeking a Project Manager I for Store Development in Sedalia, NC. You will manage new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through construction and warranty close-out, ensuring timelines and budgets.

The role requires up to 80% travel (Mon-Thu) with a remote office day on Friday; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Residency in NC, SC or VA preferred.

Qualifications

• Essential job functions include managing bidding and awarding processes for GC's, CM's, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate bid documents, RFQ packages, and ensure accurate, timely bid packages to minimize changes.
• Prepare contracts, purchase orders, processing, and payment of requisitions and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction for store projects to meet prototype standards and schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, and progress; coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Operations and other stakeholders.
• Lead weekly meetings, manage budgets and change orders, and ensure timely store openings.
