Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, Store Development, seeks a Project Manager I to lead new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will manage schedules, plan reviews, budgets, bids, and coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors and internal partners to ensure timely openings and compliant work.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and 5–7 years of construction experience.

• Knowledge of architectural/engineering concepts and processes.
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead bidding and awarding with GC/CMs and subcontractors for Food Lion projects.
• Prepare contracts, purchase orders, and process invoices for Food Lion work.
• Oversee Change Authorization/Change Order processes and ensure timely payments.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and phasing.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Preconstruction/A&E, and Operations.
• Monitor safety, quality, and adherence to prototype standards on site.
