Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I for Store Development, managing new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; construction/engineering background preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC's, CM's, subcontractors and vendors on Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Oversee bid document preparation: RFQ packages, schedules, bid plans and instructions.
• Handle contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and invoice payments for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Manage Change Order process and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Direct weekly project construction and operations meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against schedule milestones and coordinate with internal departments.
