Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I to lead new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will manage bidding, contracts, budgets and schedule milestones across a multi-brand environment.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management or Engineering preferred) and 5–7 years of construction experience. This role requires weekly travel and significant collaboration with internal departments and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; Preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and invoices for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Coordinate approvals, change orders, and budget reporting to senior management.
• Review ARCH/MEP plans for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Develop phase plans, schedules and milestones to ensure on-time store openings.
• Lead weekly meetings and drive risk mitigation across stakeholders.
