Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Senior Store Development Project Manager to lead new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. Travel up to 80% with a Friday remote day, supporting Food Lion-contracted builds across NC/SC/VA.

You will manage bids, contracts, budgets and safety, ensuring timely openings and compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or similar, 5–7 years construction experience, and the ability to lead

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects with multi-disciplinary teams and partners.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; proven communication across levels.

Responsibilities

Manage bidding and awarding with GC's, CM's, subcontractors and suppliers for Food Lion-contracted projects.
Coordinate bid documents, RFQ packages and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
Oversee contracts, purchase orders, processing and payment of requisitions and invoices.
Administer Change Order processes and ensure alignment with original scope and budget.
Develop schedules, milestones and monitor progress to meet store openings and project deadlines.
Ensure safety and compliance through coordination with Safety teams and contractors.
