Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; Preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence and drive accountability across contractors, developers / landlords, vendors and cross-functional partners.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC's, CM's, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and invoices for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Manage Change Authorization/Change Order processes to control scope and cost.
• Develop and implement cost savings ideas, value engineering and construction means/methods.
• Plan store projects, schedules, milestones and monitor progress against requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Preconstruction/A&E and Operations.
