Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee new store, expansion, and remodel projects from pre-construction through warranty. The role requires coordinating with internal teams, managing bids, contracts, and budgets, and ensuring timely, compliant delivery across multiple sites.

Applicants may reside in NC, SC, or VA with up to 80% travel; a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering and 5–7 years in construction are preferred.

Qualifications

• Lead projects through multiple phases from pre-construction to close-out.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and risk management skills required.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding with GC's, CM's and subcontractors.
• Coordinate bid documents, RFQ packages and procurement processes.
• Oversee contracts, PO processing and vendor invoicing for Food Lion projects.
• Handle Construction Change Authorization/Change Order processes and cost control.
• Review redlines on ARCH/MEP plans for consistency with codes and standards.
• Provide value engineering feedback and develop cost-saving ideas.
