Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead the store's clinical team, supervise staff, and partner with the Brand Manager to meet clinical and sales goals. You will train technicians, ensure quality patient care, and uphold privacy and brand standards in a busy on-site store.

You will mentor a team in diagnostic testing, refraction, and lens care, while maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management or clinical leadership.
• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to provide an easy, memorable experience and information on products.
• Drive sales to meet daily, weekly and monthly revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction through proper troubleshooting and training.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on pre-testing, local mode, digital refraction, contact lens care and PEG standards.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are followed per Physicians Eyecare Group.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Uphold store brand standards and perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens insertion/removal.
