Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a Store Assistant Manager in Tampa, FL, to collaborate with the Store Manager on all store operations and coach a team of brand advocates. You will drive customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years retail experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to maximize profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, and operations.
• Create exceptional customer experiences with strong client focus.
• Assist in visual merchandising to maintain brand standards.
• Ensure replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Support loss prevention and safety policies and store operations.
• Assist in training, inventory, admin tasks, and staff development.
• Process information through POS system and store computer.
