Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist in daily operations. You will supervise Associates, ensure safe and secure shopping, and drive merchandise presentation while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as assigned by Store Leadership.
• Supervise Associates and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas at all times.
• Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain loss prevention awareness and customer/service excellence.
• Coach and train staff on cash handling and front-end procedures.
