Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a store area, supervise Associates, and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will manage opening/closing, drive customer service excellence, and uphold merchandising standards.

The role includes loss prevention, front-end supervision, and daily store maintenance to support a positive shopping experience. The position requires strong communication, supervisory background, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Support loss prevention, safety, and security procedures.
• Supervise Front End operations, cash handling and signing standards.
• Coordinate payroll administration and Associate scheduling as needed.
