Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking a diligent Store Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage staffing, training, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.

You must have 2+ years in store management, strong leadership and communication skills, and be available evenings and weekends. Fluency in English and basic math for retail tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, give direction, and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Store operations in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure standards are met.
• Assist in analysis of store performance and controllable expenses.
• Ensure scheduling and completion of associate cleaning tasks and restroom upkeep.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop non-exempt associates.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop a safe and secure store environment and lead safety meetings.
