Job summary

The Christ Hospital Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide in Mason, OH. You will work under a nurse’s supervision to help patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meals and light housekeeping, and ensuring accurate documentation within 24 hours. A STNA/CNA credential and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) credential or 75-hour CNA training completed.
• At least 1 year of verifiable nurse aide experience under RN supervision.
• Score 80%+ on skills competency test.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance listing you as a driver.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Help with meals, laundry and light housekeeping as needed.
• Support safe transfers, walking, and prescribed exercises.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions to supervising nurse.
• Complete visit documentation within 24 hours of the visit.
• Travel to scheduled patient visits and follow each patient’s plan of care within your scope.
