Job summary

Alternate Solutions Home Health Columbus is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to work under a nurse's supervision, helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes.

You will assist with daily living activities, observe patient conditions, and document visits within 24 hours, while traveling to scheduled visits and following each patient’s plan of care within your scope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• STNA credential or completion of a 75-hour nurse aide training program (CNA).
• One year of verifiable nurse aide experience under an RN's direct supervision.
• A score of 80% or higher on the skills competency test.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance listing you as a driver.
• Ability to safely perform hands-on care, including lifting, transferring, and bathing.
• A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and dependable attendance.
• Must complete required training, including 12 hours of annual in-services.
