Job summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network, LLC is seeking a Home Health Aide to work under a nurse’s supervision, helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes. The role emphasizes compassionate caregiving and adherence to care plans in a home health setting.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma or equivalent, STNA or CNA training, at least one year of experience, and a valid driver’s license. Training and 12 hours of annual in-services are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• STNA credential or completion of a 75-hour nurse aide training program (CNA).
• One year of verifiable nurse aide experience under an RN’s direct supervision.
• A score of 80% or higher on the skills competency test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance listing you as a driver.
• Ability to safely perform hands-on care, including lifting, transferring, and bathing.
• A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and dependable attendance.
• Must complete required training, including 12 hours of annual in-services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Help with meals, laundry, and light housekeeping as needed.
• Support safe transfers, walking, and prescribed exercises.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Complete visit documentation within 24 hours.
