Job summary

The University of Rochester is hiring a SEIU Materials Processing Specialist at Strong Memorial Hospital to ensure the sterilization and quality assurance of surgical instruments. This full-time position requires attention to detail and experience in materials processing.

The Specialist will inspect, assemble, and maintain records of sterilized items, and operate sterilizers while adhering to established procedures. Candidates should have at least one year of experience and preferably a certification as a Registered Central Sterile Processing Distribution Technician.

Qualifications

• One year of related materials processing experience.
• Certification as a Registered Central Sterile Processing Distribution Technician preferred.
• Computer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
