Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year of experience or completion of REOC Sterile Processing Training. OR/surgical facility experience is preferred and candidates must meet central service certification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience or completion of REOC Sterile Processing Training Program required.
• Previous operating room or sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares instruments, equipment and supplies adhering to sterile technique and handling principles.
• Assists clinical staff by performing assistive/advocacy services in patient care.
• Follows policies and guidelines for reprocessing, assembling and maintaining instruments and equipment.
