Job summary

USMD Hospital At Arlington LP is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead the department under the Director of Surgical Services. You will oversee decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization and storage of instruments, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in sterile processing, 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity, and a certification in sterile processing. Billing reconciliation experience is also valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification in sterile processing is required. BLS certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of sterile processing experience in a hospital setting.
• 1–2 years of team lead/supervisory experience.
• Experience with patient charge reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the daily activities of the sterile processing department under the Director of Surgical Services.
• Supervise and train all aspects of sterile processing including decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization and sterile storage per SOPs.
