UofL Health in Louisville, KY seeks a Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead Technicians in decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments across the Medical Center complex. The role requires at least three years in Sterile Processing, high school diploma or GED, and double certification (CRCST/CSPDT and CIS/SIS).

You will oversee workflow, train staff, and ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN and CDC standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Sterile Processing.
• Double Certification (CRCST/CSPDT and CIS/SIS) required or must be obtained within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise Sterile Processing Technicians and assign daily work.
• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package and sterilize instruments.
• Monitor sterilization processes and maintain documentation.
• Coach staff, manage vacations, and ensure department compliance.
• Assist SPD Manager with performance improvement initiatives.
