Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Lead/Supervisor to ensure high-quality sterilization of instruments and lead the SPD team. You will supervise decontamination, tray assembly, and sterile processing for operating room use, with emphasis on communication with OR staff and compliance with standards.

The role requires 4 years in sterile processing, leadership experience, and flexibility for scheduling.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.
• 4 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• 1-2 years as Lead Technician/Supervisor preferred.
• Must be personable, friendly and flexible.
• Ability to work with OR teams and understand regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department in an orderly fashion and ensure proper coverage.
• Manage scheduling for daily department coverage.
• Oversee sterilization, aseptic technique, and instrument care.
• Monitor sterilization technologies and documentation accuracy.
• Perform weekly inventory and report needs.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for procedures.
