Job summary

Ascension, located in Tulsa, OK, seeks a Sterile Processing leader to oversee decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments per AAMI standards. You will prepare case carts, monitor QA, productivity, and drive process improvements while hiring and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Credentialed in CBSPD or IAHCSMM within 12 months of hire/transfer date.
• High School diploma or equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate/Technical degree with 1 year experience OR 5 years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments per AAMI standards.
• Prepare case carts following local inventory standards.
• Evaluate and document QA findings and coach staff to improve audits.
• Focus on productivity standards and quality workflow metrics.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
