Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator to oversee and coordinate sterile processing operations across the enterprise. This role ensures sterilized instruments are available, tracked, and delivered to the OR and related sites, supporting efficient case flow and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire or already certified.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to optimize case flow and sterilization of reprocessed inventory.
• Assist in projects and process improvements and promote effective communication across departments.
• Order, procure, and organize instrument trays to service the Enterprise on a global level.
