Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Instrumentation Coordinator to oversee daily coordination between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing. You will ensure sterilized instruments are decontaminated, assembled, and delivered aseptically to the point of use across multiple sites.

You will standardize instrument trays, support process improvement, and maintain clear communication with clinical operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 2–4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing.
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments.
• Procure and standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Support process improvement and maintain cross-site communication with clinical operations.
