Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator for the Dublin Outpatient location. The role coordinates tasks between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to ensure sterilized instruments are available for procedures and distributed appropriately across the Enterprise.

You will assemble and sterilize instruments, manage trays, and support process improvements with a focus on safety and infection prevention.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required or must obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to optimize case flow.
• Assemble, decontaminate, sterilize, and package instrument trays for enterprise use.
• Procure, standardize and organize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
