Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator to oversee sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments, ensuring aseptic packaging and safe reuse. This role serves as a clinical liaison between Operating Rooms and the CSS offsite location across the Enterprise.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and CRCST or CSPDT certification; 1 year of relevant experience required, with 2–4 years preferred.

• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Assist in projects and process improvement.
• Promote customer service and patient satisfaction through effective communication with OR operations and sterile processing across the Medical Center.
• Order, procure and organize instrument trays on a global level to service the Enterprise.
