Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg — Progressive Care to staff the swing unit and support the hospital when the unit is closed by floating to other departments. This role requires 1 year of RN experience and current RN licensure, with BSN preferred but not required.

The position emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and high-quality care. Shifts are M-F on the swing unit; compensation includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS or ACLS certification (ACLS within 6 months of hire).
• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and develop plans of care.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Serve as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Administer medications safely according to hospital policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
