Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5th Floor Intermediate - St. Joseph Warren Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Progressive Care (Step down) nursing care and coordinating between Med-Surg and ICU units.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient safety advocacy. BSN is preferred; RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required or pursued as noted.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred but not required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Serve as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Provide care coordination across hospital departments.
