Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit at Springfield Regional Medical Center. The RN will provide high-quality care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support patient safety and care coordination across departments.

The role requires an active RN license, 1 year of RN experience, and BSN is preferred. BLS/ACLS are recommended; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure is required.
• 1 year of RN experience is required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• BLS or ACLS certification preferred at hire; ACLS to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients.
• Act as service line between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Assess patient status and develop care plans.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
