Our client in Lordstown, Ohio is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead new account penetration in the steel processing and distribution sector. This hunter role focuses on building relationships with purchasing and operations leaders to win profitable business and expand market share.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of steel products and market dynamics, a proven track record in opening accounts, and the drive to outperform competitors.

Formación

• Proven track record in opening accounts and generating profitable sales growth.
• Experience in steel or related manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Established network with purchasing and operations decision-makers.
• Strong knowledge of steel products, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Experience selling to OEMs, fabricators, and industrial customers.

Responsabilidades

• Hunt for new business by targeting and penetrating new accounts in steel processing, distribution, and manufacturing.
• Open doors and win accounts by building relationships with key decision-makers.
• Capture market share by demonstrating service, capabilities, and value.
• Drive profitable growth through strategies that increase sales and expand the customer base.
• Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including pricing negotiations.
• Understand customer needs and align solutions with inventory and application requirements.
