Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics within the North America Higher Education Customer Success Organization. This role partners with course-level administrators, acting as pedagogy expert to align Pearson digital products with learning objectives and outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Statistics with at least five years of college teaching experience and is a power user of Pearson MyLab.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Statistics is required.
  • At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the collegiate level in Statistics is required.
  • Power-user of Pearson MyLab is required.
  • Knowledge/experience in multiple Mathematics/Statistics fields; Data Science/Engineering desirable.
  • Online teaching and LMS experience preferred.
  • Experience presenting at conferences is a plus.
  • High Achievement: Collegiate Teaching Award(s).

Responsibilities

  • Advise on the integration of Pearson digital products to support teaching and learning goals.
  • Provide training resources including videos, guides, and live/recorded webinars.
  • Consult with customers on modifying or creating content and on assessment strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to inform development and campaigns.
  • Track and report success metrics and recommendations for course design and implementation.
