Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics to join the North America Higher Education Customer Success Organization. The role combines subject-matter expertise with strategic engagement with course admins to align Pearson digital products with learning objectives and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a master's in Statistics, at least five years of college-level teaching, and strong experience with Pearson MyLab.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics is required.
At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the collegiate level in Statistics is required.
Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
Knowledge and experience in multiple fields in Mathematics and Statistics preferred; data science/engineering desirable.
Online teaching experience and LMS experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with course-level administrators to advise on the optimal integration of Pearson digital products to support teaching and learning goals.
Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; provide best practices with MyLab.
Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
Create department-specific training resources (videos, guides, live/recorded webinars).
Advise Product teams on development of new platforms, tools, and features.
Collaborate with Sales in campaigns and demonstrations; support sales enablement.
Use success metrics to document recommendations and evolution of course design and implementation.
