Job summary

The Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics at Pearson North America Higher Education is a senior role focusing on aligning Pearson digital products with instructors’ objectives and outcomes.

Requires a Master’s degree in Statistics and at least five years of college-level teaching experience, plus Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab and LMS tools. Remote work with occasional in-person engagements is expected.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Statistics required.
Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching at the college/university level in Statistics.
Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab.
Knowledge of multiple Mathematics/Statistics fields; Data Science/Engineering experience preferred.
Online teaching and LMS experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Partner with course-level administrators to advise on the integration of Pearson digital products to support teaching and learning goals.
Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; provide guidance on MyLab usage.
Consult with customers on content modification or creation.
Create department-specific training resources (videos, guides, live and recorded webinars).
Advise Product teams on development of new platforms, tools, and features.
Collaborate with Sales on campaigns, calls, meetings, demonstrations and other enablement activities.
Use success metrics and reporting templates to document recommendations and course design evolution.
